VAST develops its own projects as well as works within partnerships to lead or assist in the successful development, optimization, re-development, and operations of other’s projects.
VAST is a Project Developer and Project Integrator working with all key players to deliver successful projects, including:
A significant part of this means establishing partnerships across the value chain while maintaining an overview of the entirety of the project to optimize value for stakeholders.
VAST can assume the role of General Partner in projects. Projects will require some degree of validation and de-risking of elements in the value chain. As the integrator, VAST is responsible for developing a phased project execution approach where all elements including primary technology choices are suitable for a successful project.
Upon successful design and engineering, VAST leads project execution including construction supervision. Commissioning is usually a joint exercise between technology vendor(s), engineering partners, operators and VAST.
Following successful commissioning VAST can oversee the initiation of the operations phase and eventually provide service and maintenance requirements.
The Partnerships and the supervising role of VAST as an integrator will ensure a closer working relationship between the expert areas ensuring a higher quality outcome of the individual project, to the benefit of all.
